High Schools – Take the Citizens Insurance Challenge!
Citizens Insurance is once again offering challenge grants to encourage local youth to engage in volunteerism through Day of Caring. Student groups (teams, clubs, service organizations) that participate have the opportunity to receive a grant of either $500 or $1,000. Grants will be awarded to outstanding teams based on percentage of participation, effort and impact as described by recipients, or other factors as determined by Citizens Insurance and Day of Caring leadership. Multiple grants will be awarded. Citizens Insurance began the challenge program in 2011 with Howell’s Parker Middle School and has since expanded it to include all county high schools, both public and private.

Questions related to the Citizens Insurance Day of Caring High School Challenge should be directed to Community Relations Manager Becky Best at 517-540-4290 or bbest@hanover.com.
